Thus, the kidneys stimulate the process of hematopoiesis and often malignant lesions of the circulatory system are directly related to the pathological processes taking place in them.
The kidneys produce the angiotensin hormone, which causes vasoconstriction and blood pressure increase, as well as the release of another hormone, aldosterone, into the bloodstream of the adrenal cortex, the main function of which is regulation of the content of potassium and sodium salts in the blood. They are responsible for the production of the enzyme renin, regulating the volume of fluid, blood pressure and the level of potassium in the body. The kidneys produce hormone-like substances prostaglandins - mediators of biochemical processes with a physiological effect, improving kidney blood flow.
Thanks to kidneys in the body, normal blood acidity is ensured, hemoglobin level is regulated, blood pressure level and electrolyte balance are maintained normally.
Kidneys in the human body are a source of energy, and if a person has kidney problems, he is simply deprived of vitality. In addition, the energy that is in the kidneys, parents transmit to their children at conception, and so that it does not become exhausted, it is extremely undesirable to have a disorderly sex life and any infections.
In addition to all other functions, the kidneys control the hearing and control the state of the hair and bones. Eastern medicine considers the ears as "the windows of the kidneys." And outwardly, both organs are very similar to each other with their bean-shaped form. Due to inflammation of the kidneys, hearing damage can occur, and their severe inflammation can trigger the onset of deafness.

They transfer vitamin D into a special active form (calcitriol), capable of controlling the processes occurring in the bones of the skeleton, i.e. normal functioning of the kidneys positively affects the strength of bones. If the kidney function is reduced, the production of the active form of vitamin D is reduced and in the bones of patients there are various changes related to their damage.
Kidneys also affect the overall thermoregulation of the body, i.e. on its ability to adapt to temperature changes in the environment.
As you can see, the kidneys are not just part of the urinary system, but a vital organ and if it functions incorrectly, it can be devastating for the whole organism. If the kidneys deteriorate, the body fills with toxins, blood is poisoned, blood pressure rises, the concentration of electrolytes and the pH of the plasma fluctuate, exerting stressful effects on other organs and systems.
