As for the dosage, on the recommendation of the World Health Organization, the average daily intake of vitamin B9 is 400 μg. If it is a question of planning pregnancy, then the need for a vitamin increases by 50%, thus making up a dose of 600 mcg.

Do not forget that folic acid is not produced by the body, and therefore you should constantly replenish the acid stores with food. From products, you should give preference to those that contain folic acid. These are products such as beef liver, green vegetables - broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, Brussels sprouts, legumes, egg yolk, asparagus, oranges, bananas, mangoes, whole grains cereals and bread.
